Born in London, England to Lebanese/Qatari parents, composer Binali has an extensive career in the area of music composition for TV and Films. Mr. Binali attended the prestigious Gordonstoun School in Scotland. After two years of business studies at Richmong College in London, he transferred to Pepperdine University in Malibu, where Mr. Binali received training in Theory, Composition and got a BA in Music History.


He continued his training as a composer at UCLA with composer Mark Carlson, and got his first post graduate degree in Classical Composition at Trinity College of Music in London, under the tutelage of British composer Andrew Lovett. A second post graduated degree was obtained at the USC Film Scoring program in Los Angeles, where Mr. Binali studied under Chris Young, David Raksin, Elmer Bernstein and Leonard Rosenman.


Whilst in London at Trinity, Mr. Binali joined Music Sculptors, a high profile music composition house where he worked on several projects including Ware Documentary, the award winning British drama series Where The Heart Is and composed music for high profile corporate clients Cusson's Imperial Leather soap and Vaseline.


Since moving to back to Los Angeles he has worked independently on many USC projects, cultivating contacts in the industry. Mr. Binali has a notable long-standing collaborative relationship with Israeli composer Lior Rosner on such films like Rocket's Red Glare for Fox Family Channel and the popular TV hit Power Rangers. In 2001, Mr. Binali also orchestrated on the Golden Globe nominated score The Shipping News with award-winning composer Christopher Young (Wonder Boys, The Hurricane, Hellraiser).


Mr. Binali is currently composing an original score for the groundbreaking Internet feature animation Atlantis Falling, the documentary SEEDS, and has also been commissioned to write a concert piece for the Opening of the Cornel Medical University in Qatar, and has just finished working with Christopher Young on Runaway Jury which will be out in Fall 2003.
